History

About Us Auction Automations and its services were founded after several years of evaluation by thousands of silent auction participants. With support of the Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation; insight from hundreds of guests, volunteers and DA20-30 members was collected and used to fine-tune and develop the ultimate in silent auction technology.

Beginning in 2004, automation services were introduced at the Denver Polo Classic. The approach used was both new and innovative; achieving multi-year, record-breaking results over the events' 18 year history. According to the silent auction event manager, Karen King, there has been no other solution in the marketplace as unique, visual or interactive for silent auction patron’s to experience.

Auction Automations LLC was founded by the team that introduced these original concepts. Our approach was to utilize feedback from Denver Active 20-30 and completely re-designed the solution from the ground up. As a result, we now offer a superior patent pending product for premier silent auction events around the country.

Our Founders

Research and Development
Our Research and Development team is led by Mr. Wes Bauer and Mr. Eric Shepard. Our team will continue to identify, define, improve and implement new services to help ensure best-of-class services are always provided. Wes Bauer
Mr. Bauer has been a leading expert in architecting and delivering high-profile and high-traffic solutions as a senior Microsoft technology consultant. His expertise expands several industries and includes enterprise solutions for streamlining business processes.

Eric Shepard
Mr. Shepard is a leading technology consultant for both IBM and Microsoft solutions. Since beginning his technology consulting career in the mid ’90’s, Mr. Shepard has been providing complex solutions to medium and large business in numerous industries.

Derry Roth, Managing Director
For the past 10 years, Mr. Roth has served in numerous strategic consulting roles for small to large corporations. He also served as a Group Lead, Senior Consultant and Director of Operations for both IBM and Microsoft Practices for a local consulting firm. As a managing consultant, Mr. Roth enjoys challenging situations related to strategic consulting, business performance, process and environmental change management.
